The apartment is located 5 minutes walk (less than 400 m) from the “Ca’Rezzonico” waterbuses stop (vaporetti) on the Grand Canal. You can easely reach it even with luggage as there is no need to cross any bridge. At “Ca Rezzonico” waterbuses stop you can take waterbuses to/from all the most important places in the city and to/for Marco Polo Airport of Venice-Tessera. The apartment is also located just 4 minutes walk (250 meters) from the “San Basilio” waterbuses stop on the Giudecca Canal, particularly useful for those coming from the car park of the Tronchetto island or from the stop of a buses service that links to “Antonio Canova” Airport of Treviso.
In the neighborhood there are many typical cafes and restaurants, patisseries, groceries, shops of local craftsmen and supermarkets. Here are located also nice sites and monuments as Campo S. Margherita (University district), Zattere, Gallerie dell’Accademia, Ca’ Rezzonico, and the Grande Scuola dei Carmini. St. Mark’s Square as well as the Rialto Bridge are reachable in about 20/25 minutes walk (or 10 minutes by waterbus).
